The World Looks to Us – Will We Deliver?
Hey friends,
“2020” and “excitement” haven’t really gone together. Yet, that doesn’t have to be the case for the chiropractic profession.
Now, before we go any farther, it is important to state that we know COVID-19 has been a devastating thing and we are by no means happy it happened. However, COVID-19 has changed the way we look at health care. It has definitely change how the population looks at the medical model for becoming healthy, viable, and resilient. And, for that, we are excited. We are excited that the world has an opportunity to redefine how we approach our health and wellness.
I don’t know about you, but my practice has been very busy with reactivations and new patients looking to improve. Yes, many of them are coming in with acute issues. What’s different is they are coming in and wanting a more full system approach – they don’t want to feel better, they want to be better.
Over the last decade I have bled through my eyeballs trying to get people to realize this importance with minimal success. Today, patients are coming in asking if I can help them make it a reality. That’s exciting!
Last episode talked about the importance of outcome assessment, documentation, professional consistency, and research pioneering. We dove into how succeeding on these topics would dramatically improve the profession.
This episode is all about how we should be ecstatic. For the first time, probably ever, the population is looking to us for a solution. Not only that, they are running from the MD, the Urgent Care, the Pain Management Specialist and truly seeking an active approach.
Here’s to not screwing it up!
Enjoy the Show, Good Luck, and #keepmoving
